Mayer uses the example of searching for “New Zealand” on Google. If the user has recently visited New Zealand and write something about it in a social network or blog, ‘Social Search’ will attract these results at the bottom of the page. New features in the Google search engine also will include visual data.
When searching for a celebrity, for example, “George Clooney”, Google’s ‘Social Search’ will also bring photos of the user’s friends who have named George, at the bottom of the page image. However please note, Google’s ‘Social Search’ will only remove the data or information which has become ‘owned’ the public and will not issue personal data.
