China bans Online Dating As well As Blogs

Along with the rule banning soldiers create a web site or write a blog. People’s Liberation Army (PLA) also makes the ban so that the soldiers could not access the dating sites, or conduct other online dating.

Implementation of these reasons, still the same with blogging ban for the soldiers, namely security reasons. The commanders in the PLA are concerned that these dating sites will create a problem.

The reason could be lured soldiers and leaking state secrets while chatting with your opponent date unknown identity. However, the PLA was not just a hands-off; China’s military will still be helping a single soldier who tried to find a lover.

PLA itself is now a membership of approximately 2.3 million members. Later it will also be prohibited from dealing with the virtual world.

Besides blogs, dating sites, they are also forbidden to make friends in the virtual world. Overall it was stipulated in the regulation of Internal Affairs which has been effective since June 15 last.

“The people with ulterior motives may use personal information to threaten the safety of the soldiers and the army,” said Yang Jigui, a PLA officer on Tuesday (06/28/2010).

Jigui and his team in the city of Shigatse is looking for ways to help fix the soldiers who are still single, with the women’s federation cooperated with the Communist Party.
