Samsung Launches Their Latest 1 GHz Processor
SEOUL – Samsung has launched the latest ARM Cortex A9 which is a 1GHz dual-core processor for mobile devices which is the latest generation.
Chip that runs on 45nm architecture and which is called Orion as a code name features a pair of brain, 1GHz ARM Cortex A9, each with a 32KB of data cache and 32KB instruction cache.
This processor is also equipped with 1MB of L2 cache, which optimizes CPU performance and provides fast context switching in multi-tasking environment.
