However, evolutionary programming is widely used in the development of AI systems (artificial intelligence) that seek to match human capabilities.

Evolutionary approach is usually more effective than the waterfall approaches to software development it must immediately meet the needs customer. However, in terms of engineering and management, this model has a fundamental problem in some very important things.
